We are thankful to the Lord for sending us our new Pastor - Teacher, Reverend Paul A. W. McKery. Pastor McKery is a native of Oakland, California. He completed his formal education by graduating from Fremont High School of Oakland, California.

He was called to preach in December of 1981 under the Leadership of Pastor Lester Cannon of Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor McKery served as Assistant Pastor and in several other staff positions. In December of 1992, Pastor McKery was called to pastor the New Bethel Baptist Church of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He served faithfully for eight years. On July 1, 2001, Pastor McKery was called to become the second Pastor of the historic Palma Ceia Baptist Church of Hayward, California.

Pastor McKery is a graduate of Golden Gate Theological Seminary and has attended several other ministerial theological training facilities. He is married to Sandra McKery and they are the proud parents of two lovely children, Tinisha and Tyana.

Pastor McKery is a strong preacher and teacher of the Word of God. He loves to praise the Lord and teach the Word in an expository way, so that the children of God can understand and grasp what the Lord is saying. One of his favorite saying is "To God Be the Glory."
