African American Research (Genealogy) Workshop

Have you always wanted to get started with tracing your family history, but don't know how? Are you hitting brick walls trying to locate your African American ancestors? Attend this workshop in a group environment as well as learn individual search strategies and tips to knock down those brick walls. The class is taught by Judith Collins.

The workshops are held the 4th Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m.to 8 p.m. at the Oakland (Regional) Family History Center. Sessions are FREE and ALL are welcome. After a holiday break, workshops resume Wednesday, 1/25/12.

Individual help is provided weekly on Thursdays from 1p.m. to 4p.m. The next class is Thursday, 1/19/12. Please keep in mind this assistance is not in a workshop or group setting. There is no fee and All are welcome. Individual assistance is provided by Electra K. Price.
