Say Hello to the New Site!

Welcome to the new Palma Ceia website! A lot has gone into its preparation, and it is finally here. The new website sports a brand new design, more information, and ministry, news and calendar pages to help you stay on top of all the great opportunities and events happening every day at church. This new website will help us communicate better as a church family, and make it easier to stay updated with all the happenings at Palma Ceia.

The new website was planned and implemented by the PCBC Technology Ministry, working together with Zuram, the website developer. Special thanks go to Austin Jackson, Larry Jackson, Renee McMearn, Phyllis Brown, Lenward Houser, Vernon Foster and the entire Palma Ceia Technology Ministry committee for their work in the new website. The website will be managed and updated by member Renee McMearn. Make sure to check back often as our new website will be updated all the time with news, announcements, events and more opportunities for your spiritual growth!

If you have suggestions for the website, or want to learn how to make an update, please visit our Website page here.

Fine Tuning
Since we just released the website, we are still fine tuning it to work with all devices and web browsers. Please contact us if you experience any issues with the website.

New Lighting System

The lighting system has been updated! The most obvious change is that when you enter most of the classrooms and restrooms, the lights come on and extinguish automatically. The lights are activated by motion-detectors that were put in place where there used to be hand operated switches.

Please do not manually operate the motion detectors.

(If no motion is detected, the motion detectors will turn the lights off about five minutes, after you leave the room. Thank you for your support in making the transition with the new lighting systems.)

Summer Youth Retreat a Success

The Palma Ceia summer youth retreat was a great success, with over 30 youth and 10 chaperones participating. The youth retreat is put on twice yearly by the Youth Department of Palma Ceia, led by Brother Keith White. Activities ranged from zip lining across the woods and the leap of faith, to paintball and arts and crafts. This year we were fortunate to rent a bus to take everyone up together. Everyone had a wonderful time, and congratulations are in order to the whole youth department and chaperones. Bravo!
